This activity is for all ages!

This activity is virtual and requires you to provide your own supplies. Families who sign up for this event will receive a separate email with detailed instructions and further information about our nonprofit partner and how we can help!

Let's make face coverings for SEARCH Homeless Services to provide to people experiencing homelessness and people living on the streets of Houston. The CDC recommends that we all use cloth face coverings to slow and reduce the spread of COVID-19. The CDC website includes instructions for sewing and no-sew masks with ties or elastics to secure them can be found here. You can also see these tutorials herehere, and here for different kinds of masks you can make.

You can drop off donations to our Generation SERVE bins or contact mmartin@searchhomeless.org to make arrangements for a drop off time at SEARCH.
