This activity is for all ages!

This activity is virtual and requires you to provide your own supplies - paper, markers, crayons or stickers. Families who sign up for this event will receive a separate email with detailed instructions and further information about our nonprofit partner and how we can help!

Let's make Holiday-themed cards for Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston's Meals on Wheels program whose volunteers will deliver them along with the meals they bring to over 5,000 homebound seniors and disabled adults.

All you will need to make the cards is construction paper, scissors and any markers, crayons or stickers you may have at home. If you would like, you can also include a crossword or suduko puzzle in your cards. Here are links for some free printables. Link 1Link 2. Please keep the cards positive and uplifting and please don't use religious symbols or scripture. Because

of the religious diversity of Meals on Wheels' many clients, it is not appropriate to deliver cards that represent one particular faith such as “Merry Christmas”, “God Bless You” or “ Happy Chanukah." Please say "Happy Holidays" instead!

Please drop off your completed cards to the Generation SERVE Bins located at:

Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism

801 Bering Drive

Houston, TX 77057

Detailed instructions and additional educational resources will be sent to you after sign up.
