IN-PERSON OPPORTUNITY - Buffalo Bayou Park Team

This is a modified, in person volunteering opportunity. Detailed instructions and educational resources will be sent to you upon registration. You will meet with our nonprofit partner directly for the service opportunity onsite. A COVID waiver from both Generation SERVE and our nonprofit partner will be required. 

This activity is for ages 9 and up with a parent or guardian. Mature teens may participate as a drop off event with certain additional requirements. 

Generation SERVE volunteers, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) for a community-wide volunteer day at Buffalo Bayou Park. Your service at Buffalo Bayou Park helps to create a a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to task pickup, mulching and weed removal, and other gardening tasks. Please plan to bring your own work gloves. All other necessary work tools will be provided by the Partnership. Please note that this volunteering event will be held outdoors, masks must be worn and safety protocols, including social distancing, will be required.

Upon registration, we will send you more detailed information about our service, where ito check in and parking instructions. You will also be asked to read BBP's Volunteer Information and a Volunteer Waiver from both Generation SERVE and BBP.
