This activity is for all ages!
This activity is virtual and requires you to provide your own supplies - Grocery Bag, Meal Items listed below, Recipe List, Paper and Markers to make a card and decorate the bag. Families who sign up for this event will receive a separate email with detailed instructions and further information about our nonprofit partner and how we can help! Feel free to do this activity when most convenient for your family. Please plan to drop off completed meal kits by April 29th so they can be delivered to the Casa families.
Join Generation SERVE to make meal kits so that the families of Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos can make a home-made, delicious meal. Volunteers will assemble non-perishable items needed for a meal, such as canned vegetables, pie filing, pasta, mashed potatoes, etc. that Casa can distribute to their families. Feel free to provide items needed to make one of your favorite homemade springtime meals and include a recipe card. We will also send some meal kit ideas to you to include. We request that our Generation SERVE families provide 1-2 meal kits if possible. You can also include fun springtime crafts for the children of CASA such as stickers and construction paper or any other simple spring-themed craft. Please also feel free to make cards and decorate the bag to be delivered. Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos strives to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect for at-risk infants, children and their families by providing comprehensive residential and family support programs that transform people and communities.
You can drop off completed meal kits at our Generation SERVE bins at HCRJ, 801 Bering Drive, 77057. Please drop off by April 29th if possible.
