This activity is best for children ages 6 and older. Note that ECHOS welcomes children volunteers of all ages, as long as they have an adult to supervise.
This is a modified, in person volunteering opportunity. Detailed instructions and educational resources will be sent to you upon registration. You will meet with our nonprofit partner directly for the service opportunity onsite. A COVID waiver from both Generation SERVE and our nonprofit partner will be required. Please be sure to review our Generation SERVE waiver HERE and return your signed copy to email@example.com.
Join Generation SERVE and volunteer for ECHOS- Epiphany Community Health Outreach Services. ECHOS works to help families meet their basic needs, on their path to self-sufficiency.
ECHOS distributes 45-60 pounds of fresh produce, fruits, and dairy products at the Food Fairs to the 200-275 families who attend. All food is provided to families at no charge. There are no restrictions or requirements.
Generation SERVE volunteers will assemble hygiene kits and also may pack bags/boxes of food ECHOS distributes each Tuesday in their drive-through Food Pantry.
The health and safety of volunteers is a number one priority, so all volunteers must be masked for their shift and social distance. Please also remember to sign and return the Generation SERVE COVID waiver in order to participate.

We appreciate your support! Generation SERVE engages children in volunteerism and empowers them to make a difference in their communities. Join us as a Houston Family Sponsor and help us inspire a generation of community-inspired leaders in Houston.
**Generation SERVE updated mask policy- Masks are optional for all participants at outdoor volunteer events, unless a partner organization requires otherwise. Because children under 12 are not yet eligible for vaccination, masks are required for all Generation SERVE participants and activity leads at indoor activities.
