This activity is best for ages 6 and up with a parent or guardian. Mature teens may participate as a drop off event with certain additional requirements.

Join us to help Urban Harvest at the Gregory Lincoln Education Center Garden. GLEC is Urban Harvest's demonstration garden. There are currently 15 vegetable beds, pollinator beds, 3 community beds, and a rain garden. Along with an active compost system, GLEC also has an outdoor vegetable wash station.

Need to know

A mask is required inside of the school.

We are focused on maintaining the garden. A garden educator is on site during volunteer hours.

When coming to the garden, please wear closed toe shoes, bring a water bottle and a snack. If you would like gloves, please bring them. Essential tools (shovel, fork, rake) are stored under one of the silver tables OR you can bring your favorite digging tools.

To avoid school dismissal traffic, park at the Carnegie HS garage or the gravel parking lot on the garden side of Gregory-Lincoln next to the football field.

Please Review Media Release Form, Garden Layout, and Gardening Videos before your garden shift

There is a sign in sheet at the garden for all volunteers
