This winter let's help SEARCH Homeless distribute cold weather kits to its clients to keep them warm. SEARCH provides hope, creates opportunity, and transforms lives for thousands of men, women, and children who are trying to break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Houston. SEARCH Houston's Mobile Outreach team is in need of cold weather kits to distribute to individuals living on the streets who are experiencing homelessness.

As we approach the winter season and cooler weather, SEARCH has begun to prepare to address concerns about temperature among folks living on the streets. SEARCH’s Outreach Team is in need of up to 75 cold weather kits containing the following items packaged in an affordable drawstring bag. Items needed include:

  • Emergency blanket
  • Socks (fun pairs welcome!)
  • Winter hat
  • Long john pants (size L if available)
  • Basic wind breaker (size L if available)

You can drop off the kits to our Generation SERVE storage unit at Cube Smart, 4211 Bellaire Blvd.
