Activity Description

One Sunday a month, the Neill-Cochran House Museum opens its doors to feature hands-on activities, scavenger hunts, self-paced tours, and (weather permitting) lawn games. You will help the museum host this month's Sunday Funday by facilitating a masonic apron project.

Your family is invited to stay and enjoy the fun afterwards!

Activity Requirements

  • This activity is for ages 12 & up only.
  • Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

More About Our Partner

The Neill-Cochran House Museum stewards one of the city's oldest residences (1856), including Austin's only intact slave quarters. The museum shares their house, Austin history, and Texas history from the city's birth in 1839 up to 1930 through historically furnished spaces as well as numerous rotating art and history exhibitions.

Support Generation SERVE

We provide a trained facilitator for every volunteer project we do and the cost of hiring, training, and supporting our team adds up! We suggest a donation of $30 per family to help us cover our activity costs, or you can also become a family sponsor. We appreciate your support!
