Activity Description
SERVE at Home is a way for your family to spread kindness and help our community on your own, anytime, anywhere! We want to keep Houston volunteering all week long!
Let’s get crafty and make cheerful and fun thank you cards that Generation SERVE will use to say thank you to our partners! Generation SERVE will use these thank you cards to thank partners, Activity Leads, or familes who support us and our mission!
You will need to provide the supplies for this activity. You can complete this activity on your own anytime during the month.
Activity Directions
Supplies needed:
- Construction paper or blank cards
- Markers or crayons
- Stickers, stamps, or other art supplies you may have at home
- Please do not put your cards in separate envelopes.
- A mailing envelope and postage
Make fun and colorful designs on the front of your cards. You can include drawings, stickers, stamps and more. Make it your own. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who needs help. What would you say to the people helping you? Please avoid glitter as it can rub off.
On the front of your cards, include a drawing and a thankful message such as:
Thank you for your support of Generation SERVE!
Thank you for volunteering with Generation SERVE!
We are thankful for you!
Thank you for changing the world!
Thankful you are a part of Generation SERVE!
The world THANKS YOU!
You make a difference to so many!
Volunteers - make the world go round!

Sign the card with your first name only and child's age (for example, Kelli, age 6). Please leave the inside of the card blank so we can write messages in the cards!

Drop-Off Option:
Drop off your cards at Generation SERVE's storage unit located at CubeSmart. You can leave items at the front desk in bags labelled for Generation SERVE. Please make sure they are aware the items are for Unit #1201. The front office is open Monday-Friday from 9:30am-6pm, Saturdays from 8:30-5 and Sundays 11-3.

- This activity is great for all ages.
- Our program is designed to be a family experience. We want parents and caregivers to work alongside their child(ren) for all our Family Volunteering activities.
