Activity Description

Join Austin Youth River Watch on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, who never stopped asking the question, "What are you doing for others?" The MLK Jr Day of Service is a moment to work together to fulfill Dr. King's vision for a better America. It's a day "on" instead of a day off.

Help the River Watchers clean and restore Buttermilk Creek in Buttermilk Neighborhood Park! Your family will be removing trash from the Buttermilk Park Greenbelt and creek area, spreading native grass and wildflower seeds, and learning about water quality. All supplies will be provided.
