Activity Description
It's craft and storytime at the CAP Animal Shelter. Help keep the dogs entertained while they wait for their fur-ever homes by making dog toys!
Then help all the shelter animals become more adoptable by spending time reading to them. Children gain confidence in their reading skills while helping shy homeless pets become more comfortable with people. Your family can sit and read to some furry friends who are waiting for their furever families.
CAP encourages children to bring their favorite books to share with the animals. CAP also has a few dozen animal-themed books that you can choose to read from as well. The animals will remain in their kennels while you read to them.
