Activity Description

Help pack groceries to be delivered to the clients of Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston (ERJCC).


The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC Meals on Wheels program serves homebound seniors living in Southwest Houston which includes West University Place, Southside Place, Gulfton, Shenandoah, Braes Timbers, Meyerland, Almeda, Braeburn Terrace, City of Bellaire, Brays Oaks, Fondren, Central Southwest, Willow Meadows, Willowbend, Braeswood Place, and Westbury. 


Activity Requirements

  • This activity is great for all ages.
  • If this is your first time volunteering with Meals on Wheels for ERJCC, please complete their policies & procedures form before you sign up!
  • Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

Activity Directions

  • When you arrive, enter & exit the ERJCC parking lot through the main entrance on Atwell, at the gate closest to S. Braeswood.
  • Park & enter through the main lobby entrance. Tell the front desk you are here for Meals on Wheels we will meet you and escort you to our packing area.
  • You will be packing grocery items into paper bags for distribution.
