Activity Description

Help keep the dogs and cats at the Austin Animal Center entertained while they wait for their fur-ever homes! You will make items such as dog or cat toys, fleece blankets or rice socks for the animals at the shelter. After the activity, go say hi to all the adoptable cats and dogs!

Activity Requirements

  • This activity is best for children age 6 & up.
  • Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

More About Our Partner

The Austin Animal Center is an open-intake facility where lost and surrendered animals in need of shelter are accepted regardless of age, health, species or breed. The goal of the Austin Animal Center is to place all adoptable animals in forever homes.

Support Generation SERVE

We provide supplies and an Activity Lead for every activity. A $30 donation would help us cover the costs for this activity! We also greatly appreciate donations from our Amazon wishlist! Finally, you also can become a family sponsor to support us in providing fun volunteer opportunities for other families! Thank you for your support and generosity! We appreciate it!
