Work in the Next-to-New Shop

Activity Description

Hone your retail skills at the Next-to-New consignment shop by helping to organize merchandise, to tag items for sale, and to staff the check-out counter. Next-to-New has been operated by volunteers from the Central Texas community since 1959.

Activity Requirements

• This activity is for children ages 12 & up only.
• Our program is designed to be a family experience. We require an adult participant to attend and work alongside their child for all our Family Volunteering activities.
• Closed toed shoes are recommended. 
• Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

More About Our Partner

Next-to-New is a consignment shop and outreach ministry sponsored by St. David's Parish. The shop proceeds are donated to organizations that minister to disabled persons, medically fragile children, the homeless, the elderly, the working poor, victims of neglect and abuse, babies and children with HIV/AIDS, the terminally ill, cancer victims, and the hungry.
