Activity Description
Cheer on runners at the Finish Line Water Station for the Capitol 10K! You will be handing out water, sports drinks, and cheering on runners as they reach the finish line!
Activity Requirements
- This activity is best for ages 8 and up.
- High Five Events organizes the Capitol 10K and requests that all volunteers fill out this volunteer signup and waiver form.
- Dress appropriately for the weather as you will be outside.
- Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

The Capitol 10K is presented by High Five Events, and was established in 1978. The Statesman Capitol 10,000 has grown to become the largest 10K in Texas and sixth largest in the country. Each year, Austin’s iconic race teems with talent and personality. Experience the 46th annual Statesman Cap10K has partnered with the Austin nonprofit community for the past 30 years.
High Five Events is a multi-sport event production company based in Austin, TX. High Five Events supports nonprofits by providing a donation to organizations that contribute a significant amount of volunteer hours to supporting athletic events.
