Activity Description
SERVE at Home is a way for your family to spread kindness and help our community on your own, anytime, anywhere! We want to keep Houston volunteering all week long!
Help SEARCH's House of Tiny Treasures (HTT) celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week (May 8-13, 2023). The teachers at HTT have been working hard all year, so help the preschoolers celebrate their teachers by providing delicious homemade treats. These treats need to be delivered on specific days during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Activity Directions
After registering for this activity, click this link to sign up your family to make one of these treats. Treats do not need to be individually wrapped, and there are no dietary restrictions.
- Monday, May 8 – Brownies
- Tuesday, May 9 – Rice Crispy Treats
- Wednesday, May 10 – Cookies
- Thursday, May 11 – Cupcakes
- Friday, May 12 – Baker's Choice
You can also work together to create a card of appreciation for the teachers! Get creative! Here are some ideas to get you started!
- "You really deserve some brownie points for all you do!"
- "Every teacher deserves a 'treat'!"
- "No matter how the cookie crumbles you are the best teacher!"
- "You take the cake! Thanks for all you do!"
- "How sweet it is to be taught by you!"
Delivery Instructions
Items can be dropped off to Ms. Angela as early as 7am to be left in the break room for the teachers.

More About Our PartnerMore About Our Partner
SEARCH’s House of Tiny Treasures (HTT) is a nationally accredited preschool program that provides developmentally focused early childhood education to children, aged 2 – 5 years, who have experienced homelessness. Nutritious meals, education, and intensive art, play, and speech therapy address students’ needs and prepare them to be successful in kindergarten and beyond. By investing in these at‐risk children, HTT is striving to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
SEARCH provides hope, creates opportunity, and transforms lives for thousands of men, women, and children who are trying to break free from the cycle of poverty and homelessness in Houston.
Support Generation SERVE
We provide supplies and an Activity Lead for every activity. A $30 donation would help us cover the costs for this activity! You also can become a family sponsor to support us in providing fun volunteer opportunities for other families! Thank you for your support and generosity! We appreciate it!
