Activity Description
SEARCH Homeless Services has a food pantry in which clients experiencing homelessness can go shopping. You will be decorating tote bags with fabric markers and writing encouraging notes to go in the bags.
You will receive a separate email with a Zoom link to a brief online discussion with a Generation SERVE Activity Lead. You will learn about SEARCH Homeless Services and about project specifics, and then you will complete the project on your own after the Zoom meeting ends.
You will need to provide the supplies for this activity. You will need 2-3 blank canvas tote bags and some fabric markers.
Drop-Off Address: SEARCH’s main building located at 2015 Congress Ave., Houston, TX 77002
Drop-Off Instructions:
You can drop off the completed tote bags Tuesday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Please schedule with SEARCH’s Volunteer Coordinator, Desmond, by calling 713-374-3209.
