Packing Groceries for Homebound Seniors with ERJCC Meals on Wheels

Activity Description

Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center of Houston (ERJCC) needs your help packing grocery items into paper bags for homebound seniors on September 4. The Evelyn Rubenstein JCC Meals on Wheels program serves homebound seniors living in Southwest Houston which includes West University Place, Southside Place, Gulfton, Shenandoah, Braes Timbers, Meyerland, Almeda, Braeburn Terrace, City of Bellaire, Brays Oaks, Fondren, Central Southwest, Willow Meadows, Willowbend, Braeswood Place, and Westbury. 

Activity Requirements

• This activity is great for all ages.
• You will need to sign up 1 adult per slot on the ERJCC registration page: SIGN UP HERE
  • Please sign up using the link that is assigned for Generation SERVE.
• Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

Activity Directions

• Packing help is needed between 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the ERJCC (5601 S. Braseswood Blvd. )
• Meet in the lobby, and you will be escorted to the packing area.
• You will be packing grocery items into paper bags for later distribution.
