Assist with Weekly Tasks at the Houston Humane Society

Activity Description 

Help the Houston Humane Society with some of their weekly tasks, including: working in the pet pantry to organize and sort 50lb pet food bags into smaller sizes (Ziploc bags). HHS distributes 2800lbs of pet food out to distribution events 6-7 times a month.  After the activity, your are welcomed to play and visit with the adoptable cats and dogs!

Activity Requirements

• This activity is great for ages 6 and up!
• A waiver must be completed and submitted for volunteer, click HERE for waiver.
• Please wear your Generation SERVE shirt if you have one. Otherwise HHS requests that you wear a plain t-shirt and denim jeans (no skirts, dresses, or shorts are permitted).
• Comfortable closed-toed tennis shoes are required (for safety reasons, please do not wear sandals, flip flops, open-backed or open-toed shoes).
• Bring a water bottle and a snack.
• Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.
