Activity Description

SERVE at Home is a way for your family to spread kindness and help our community on your own, anytime, anywhere! We want to keep Austin volunteering all week long!


For this activity, you will work with your family at home to make cookies and cards for the residents of Mobile Loaves & Fishes' Community First! Village. Generation SERVE takes these treats to the Community First! Village's Farmer's Market each month to give to the residents.


You will need to provide the supplies for this activity. You can complete this activity on your own anytime during the month.


Activity Directions

Choose your favorite cookie recipe. Purchase the ingredients and work together to mix, bake and package them for Community First! Village. While your cookies are baking, make a cheerful card to add to your package wishing residents a wonderful day!


You will need to drop off finished treats at the Generation SERVE office located at 5555 N. Lamar Blvd., C-123. Office hours are by appointment only. Please email contact@generationserve.org to schedule a time. We go to the farmer's market the third Saturday of each month, so please have your treats delivered before then.


Activity Requirements

  • This activity is great for all ages. 
  • Our program is designed to be a family experience. We want parents and caregivers to work alongside their child(ren) for all our Family Volunteering activities.
