Activity Description

Get in the holiday spirit by helping with the set up of the Salvation Army Angel Tree warehouse. Volunteers will prepare and organize Angel Tree gifts to help fulfill the holiday wishes of Central Texas children. Duties may include unpacking and organizing toys and clothing, setting up shelving, decorating, answering phones, and fulfilling wishes for children.

Activity Requirements

  • This activity is for ages 12 & up only.
  • Wear layers since the warehouse is not heated.
  • Wear comfortable shoes as you will be moving around quite a bit.
  • Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

More About Our Partners

Every holiday season, The Salvation Army Austin Area Command provides Christmas assistance to more than 8,000 children through their Angel Tree Program. When assistance is needed, parents/guardians apply for their child to become an “angel” and get adopted by the community. Our Angel Tree partners bring joy to thousands of children every Christmas morning. This year they are on track to serve more than 10,000 children in Travis and Williamson Counties.

Support Generation SERVE

We provide supplies and an Activity Lead for every activity. A $30 donation would help us cover the costs for this activity! We also greatly appreciate donations from our Amazon wishlist! Finally, you also can become a family sponsor to support us in providing fun volunteer opportunities for other families! Thank you for your support and generosity! We appreciate it!
