Activity Description

Help Hope Austin make weekend meal kits for Austin-area students facing food insecurity. Hope Austin supports students in multiple school districts across Central Texas by giving children facing food insecurity healthy food to take home for the weekend.

*Hope Austin is collecting individual sized mac-n-cheese cups. Feel free to bring any amount of cups with you to the activity when you participate to donate to local school children.

Activity Requirements

  • This activity is for ages 8 & up only.
  • Generation SERVE adheres to the following COVID-19 policies to help keep your family and ours safe. We will continue to respect our partners' mask requirements as well as your family's decision around wearing masks.

More About Our Partner

Hope Austin creates opportunities for the youngest members of our community through food security. By providing weekend meals to students who lose their subsidized meals offered during the school week, Hope Austin ensures the brightest future for our children and the broader community by ensuring children have every opportunity to learn and thrive without hunger.

Support Generation SERVE

We provide supplies and an Activity Lead for every activity. A $30 donation would help us cover the costs for this activity! We also greatly appreciate donations from our Amazon wishlist! Finally, you also can become a family sponsor to support us in providing fun volunteer opportunities for other families! Thank you for your support and generosity! We appreciate it!
